This just isn’t right. This is how hot it is here in seattle at around 6.00. The indoor temp is in the house, and the outdoor is our back porch. It isn’t supposed to ever get this hot in seattle.
My poor rabbit is having a lot of trouble. I set up a fan, a wet towel, and some ice. He seems to be doing a bit better now. Rabbits don’t do well in hot weather.
I’m going to make some mint ice cream tonight, how better to fend off the heat.

Finished the body and one leg. You can see where my stitches were too loose right below the nose. Getting closer, not sure if I can finish by the 14th though. We will see.
This is what I have done so far on the giraffe I am crocheting for beth’s nephew. Head, neck and shoulders. I have a week to finish it for his bday, hope I can make it.

Why are people so retarded? This morning I had just gotten into work, and was checking in via phone. As I am on the phone, I hear “jeremy, hey jeremy”, repeated until I was off of the phone. I look over and its virgil “fucking please acknowldege me” garcia with a package that he could have just left on the window ledge. Fucking bastard.
Then, this afternoon, andre “can’t lift anything over 5 lbs not because of physical limitations but because I’m lazy and can ask someone else to do it for me” vaiman (yes his name is that long) comes in and asks me to lift boxes for him. When I tell him that I can’t because I am very busy (we got slammed today), he starts to whine. This is the same guy that when I hurt my back and told him that I couldn’t help him lift stuff, he told me that I was in the wrong line of work then. I was about ready to bitch slap, then drop kick him.
This is about a third of our incoming this morning. The postal service finally changed the hours for our mail pick up, so we get all incoming mail, ups, fedex, and all irs outgoing all at once. And every piece of accountable mail needs to be entered into the computer. Fun times.

for those of you who dont know, vnv nation is one of my favorite bands in the whole universe. the show last night was pretty awesome. we saw vnv nation with ayria and war tapes.
ayria was good. i have only really listened to debris, but their new stuff isnt too bad. kinda reminds me of nitzer ebb, except with a female vocalist. jennifer is pretty high energy and does a good show.
i wasnt too into war tapes, but i think that was just because i was in a more ebm/industrial mood. they are a bit more traditional. some of the songs sounded heavily cure and smiths influenced. they did a cover of love me by love and rockets which was pretty cool.
and of course, vnv nation was fucking awesome. ronan was down in the crowd during ayrias performance. he was chatting with people and came up to me, grabbed my shoulder, and asked me if i was having a good time. i love how into the fans he is. he had hurt his leg in portland, but still managed to move pretty well. we were about one row back from the stage, awesome view. they played a pretty good set, a good mix of old and new including joy, legion, darkangel, illusion, sentinel, etc. they played solitary, which i thought was awesome, as well as standing and precipice. ronan talked quite a bit. someone threw a bra on the stage, and he made some clever jokes. unfortunately we had to leave after the first encore (they do two), my beautiful beth had to go to work early.
on our way home, some guy on the bus asked if we were christians. i couldnt figure out why he asked til we got home and saw that the tshirt that i bought at the show that beth was wearing had the title of the cd on it, of faith power and glory. i guess that does sound a little christian. i like the new album, i think it is much better than their last one, judgement. so i have a couple pics and vids. they are pretty bad as i took them on my blackberry. the bass really drowns out everything, and we were right next to the speakers. so, imagine the appropriate songs with the videos.
Well, here is a pic of my first amigurumi. Its an octopus if you can’t tell. It was a pretty simple patern, although I had a little trouble stitching all eight legs onto the body. Now I am working on a giraffe for bethany’s nephew.
